Beaver Creek Cemetery is located about three miles west of the small town of Papineau, Illinois, in Iroquois County. It is on a small plot of land adjacent to Beaver Creek, which runs west to the Iroquois River.

The cemetery is also referred to as Jones Cemetery, with the name derived from the first family of European-descent to settle in the area. The family of Henry Jones moved to Papineau Township in 1837.

The cemetery is a beautiful and peaceful place, surrounded by trees on all sides. But it also hard to find, and even when you know where it is, it can be challenging to get to.
